Biology : Epiphytic herb, c. 4 cm tall; pseudobulbs 1-leafed, ovoid, obtusely 4-angled, 8x3 mm; leaf linear-oblong, 3,4x0,3 cm; inflorescence incl. filiform arcuate peduncle 3,5 cm long; bracts oblong-elliptic, 3x1 mm; flowers 2, not resupinate, opening fully, dark purple; sepals ovate-lanceolate, 5x c. 1,5 mm; petals spathulate, 2x1 mm; lip oblong-subsphathulate, 3x1 mm, margins long-hairy.
Ecology : Ecology unknown.
  Cameroon: without precise locality
  Cultivated in the Botanical Garden, University of Vienna (Austria) where it flowered in 1998. Known only from the type, Sieder 098B071 (Mr Anton Sieder is “a most skillful grower”, in charge of the Orchid collection in Vienna; Garay, o.c.).
