Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Slender woody climber to 3 m tall or more; young branchlets flexuous or very zigzag.
Ecology : Wooded grassland; open forest in hard-pan hollow area; woodland; especially associated with riverine forest; dry forest on sand; savannas; 610-1070 m alt.
  S. Africa. Entada spicata (E. Mey.) Druce from S. Africa may well occur in the southern part of Mozambique (See map in Bothalia 11: 125, 1973).
