Ecology : Kalahari sands; slope along river; dominant in deep sand, sometimes with Pterocarpus antunesii or Acacia giraffae; open woodland with Guibourtia, Ricinodendron, Brachystegia spiciformis, Pterocarpus angolensis, Burkea; etc...
