Biology : Perennial bushy plant with annual subwoody white-hairy stems 25-80 cm long from a woody rootstock; leaves 1-foliolate, obovate, evergreen; flowers very small, solitary or paired, violet red; pod 1-seeded.
Ecology : Sandy areas of the Sahel; deep sandy soils; common.
