Biology : Inflorescences, leaflets, fruits and seeds quite different from those of previous species: terminal raceme, rarely leaf-opposed, 2-3(-11)-flowered; leaflets oblanceolate to broadly oblanceolate; fruit broadly linear, 4,5-5,5 mm wide, (2-)5(-7)-seeded;
Ecology : Disturbed places along streams, on hillsides, by roads; 800-1500 m alt.
  S. Africa, Swaziland.
  Has been confused with D. lebeckioides.
