Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Erect shrub or subshrub 0,9-1,5 m tall; stems numerous, branching, densely covered with bristly tubercular-based hairs; ripe pods and seeds unknown.
Ecology : Brachystegia woodland; bushland; grassland; sandy lake shores; often on granite kopjes; 1200-1800 m alt.
  Very similar to K. strigosa but has considerably larger petals (standard: 14 x 8-10,5 not 6-13 x 3-4 mm); in habit closest to K. coalescens but bracteoles not joined.
