Biology : Dwarf shrub with straight twig-like branches, 0,2-0,8 m tall, densely white-hairy; leaves 3-foliolate, ascending; flowers purple; pod coiled or spiralled, dense greyish long-hairy.
Ecology : Sandy grassland, river alluvium, mopane and Acacia-Terminalia woodland; 275-1100 m alt. in S. Africa.
