Biology : Weak annual herb to 0,9 m tall, sometimes forming a spreading mat to 45 cm Ø from the taproot; main stem somewhat woody at the base; young branches glabrous to densely covered with tubercular-based yellowish bristly hairs.
Ecology : Dambo or swampy grassland by stream; gravel bed of drying stream; 1230-1280 m alt.
