Biology : Shrub 1,5-4,5 m tall; all but the youngest branchlets covered with thick brownish-red powdery bark; young stems with short glandular tubercular-based hairs.
Ecology : Wooded savanna; open forests with Brachystegia utilis; often in rocky places; ± 1470-2000 m alt.
