Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Annual herb sparingly pilose to densely villous; stems erect or ascending to 20 cm long; qtipules conspicuous; corolla yellow, shorter than calyx; pod 2-3 mm, 1-2-seeded.
Ecology : The morphological description given by Broun & Massey in Fl. Sudan: 181, 1929, and also by Andrews, Fl. Pl. Anglo-Eg. Sudan 2: 243, 1952, does not fit the one quoted above (from Boulos, Fl. Egypt 1: 264, 1999). To us the Sudan plant seems to be near T.
