Biology : Annual green herb; sems erect to procumbent, branching from base, 10-35 cm long, pubescent when young; flowers yellow in subumbellate long-pedunculate racemes; pod falcate to semicirular, 9-16-seeded.
Ecology : Ecology not recorded for Sudan. In Egypt: cultivated ground, sandy soils, roadsides.
  E Mediterranean Region, Egypt, Sinai, Arabia, Jordan, Syria east to Iraq, S Iran, N India; S. Africa. Probably introduced in Taiwan (Wu & Huang, o.c.).
