Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Annual erect herb 15-50 cm tall, weak ascending-branched at base, pubescent with appressed biramous hairs; leaves 1-foliolate; flowers blue to violet.
Ecology : In marshy places along riversides, scarce (Angola); woodland and wooded or open grassland in valleys, on sand; disturbed and damp places on sandy soils in miombo and Baikiaea woodland (Fl. Zambes. area).
