Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Annual branched stems, ± woody at base, silky-villous, 30-50 cm tall from a woody rootstock; flowers blue with a yellow spot to the standard, wings blue, keel greenish-white to yellowish.
Ecology : Desert wadis; loose sand; in gardens.
  Morocco, Algeria, Libya.
  Note: L. digitatus Forssk. According to Greuter & al., Med-Checklist 4: 134-135, 1989, is known only from Egypt.
