Biology : Procumbent annual, or perhaps sometimes perennial herb; forming dense mats 10-100 cm Ø; hairs biramous, fine, appressed, on slender stems much branched, radiating from the central rootstock.
Ecology : Open places such as pathsides; sandy soil; also ruderal; 0-2600 m alt.
  Namibia; Madagascar.
