Biology : Erect annual herb to 35 cm tall, covered with a sparse or dense indumentum of white, ± appressed hairs; also rather short erect multicellular gland-tipped hairs nearly always occur (never found on the leaflets).
Ecology : Dry grassland, Acacia-Commiphora bushland; margins of cultivations; on sand or on dunes; 0-1250 m alt.
  Variation considerable.
