Biology : Evergreen shrub 1-2 m tall; all parts (silvery or) golden pubescent; foliage yellow-green; leaflets cuneate at base; flowers yellow; pod 1-3-seeded, narrowed between the seeds.
Ecology : Sandy foreshores, sand dunes; on the inland margin of the coastal plain with high dune cordons (Maputaland's Licuati forest and thicket, in Veld & Flora 89: 56-61, 2003); near sealevel.
