Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Perennial trailing herb 15-60(200) cm long from a woody rootstock to 20x±1 cm; stems pubescent with short spreading hairs and yellowish glandular hairs on the young parts.
Ecology : Gravelly rocky ground; dambo; open grasslands; miombo; Brachystegia-Syzygium and chipya woodlands; sandy stony soil; granite slopes; limestone hills; conspicuous after burns; 1050-1750 m alt.
