Biology : Straggling much-branched aromatic sticky shrub 0,8-1,2 m tall; young branches densely pubescent and with numerous yellow tubercular-based hairs; older stems pale grey, glabrescent, minutely fissured; mature seeds unknown.
Ecology : Andropogon grassland with Acacia nigrescens, Combretum, Bolusanthus, Diospyros, Pterocarpus; dry watercourses; on pebbles; poorest stony places; arid sandstone; rich alluvium; 300-1200 m alt.
