Biology : Climbing herb or liane to 3 m long; stems with rather tangled appressed, pale brown hairs; leaflets discolorous; ripe seeds not seen. Very characteristic species.
Ecology : Grassland with scattered shrubs; 700-1500 m alt.
  Endemic to a limited area on the Zimbabwe/Mozambique border (Vumba Mt., Nyanga Mts.).
