Biology : Subshrub c. 1 m tall, much branched above, silvery silky pubescent; older stems dark, glabrescent; leaflets very discolorous; inflorescence reduced, 1-2-flowered; seeds unknown.
Ecology : Ecology in Mozambique (only one specimen seen for Fl. Zambes. area) not recorded. "Grassveld" and "between rocks" in S. Africa, 200-500 m alt.
