Biology : Shrub or small tree to 3,6 m tall; bark yellowish, papery, flaking; young branchlets grey-white to purple-brown, internodes very short;
Ecology : Acacia-Commiphora bushland on limestone, growing with other Acacia spp., Commiphora spp., Sesamothamnus sp.; locally common; 260-300 m alt.
  Closely related to A. somalensis , and the species are very similar in vegetative parts. Known only from the type and 2 other specimens.
