Biology : Shrub or tree 1,5-5 m tall; young branchlets grey, as though white-washed over purplish background; stipules not spinescent, soon deciduous; prickles in threes, the central one strongly hooked deownwards, the laterals curved upwards;
Ecology : Acacia-Commiphora deciduous dry bushland; 150-1200 m alt.
  Arabia.
  Distinguished by a recurved small prickle on lower face of rhachis near the apex of each leaf pinna.
