Biology : Slender shrub 1-2 m tall; young branchlets with conspicuous dark pustular glands; stipules spinescent, to 5 cm long, straight; flowers bright yellow, in heads on glandular peduncles; pods falcate, glandular, spreading-hairy, dehiscent.
Ecology : Savanna; gregarious.
  Only 2 gatherings known, including the type. Closely related to A. borleae but differing in lacking glands on leaflets, and in having spreading hairs on the pods.
