Biology : Tree, 10-40 m; 60 cm .
Ecology : Secondary forest near streams (S Nigeria), rain-forest – Wooded rocky gullies; 900-1000 m alt.; evergreen forest with Allanblackia stuhlmannii (Tanzania); 1150 m alt. Very variable.
