Biology : Climbing or scrambling subshrub 2-10 mm long; stems becoming woody, at first pubescent, later glabrescent; leaves often fasciculated on short branchlets, often appearing after flowering and fruiting;
Ecology : Very mixed deciduous bushland with Acacia, Terminalia orbicularis, Commiphora, Sesamothamnus, etc.; also Acacia semi-desert grassland; rocky places; 250-1470 m alt.
  Many occur in Somalia and adjoining parts of Ethiopia, but not yet recorded there.
