Biology : Woody climbing 6-10-20 m long or straggling shrub 2-4 m tall.; branchlets silky when young; young leaves turning bluish-black in drying.
Ecology : Coastal savanna (abundant: Togo, Benin, Chana); secondary forest; fringin, transition, savanna forests; on a variety of soils; gully; 10-400 m alr.
