Biology : Liane to 40 m long; stem 12 cm Ø; branches 8-12 mm Ø with numerous, brown ridges; panicle to 75 cm long, much branched, brown-red; flowers white or pinkish.
Ecology : Rain-forest on firm ground or flooded; old cultivations.
