Biology : Evergreen liane or scrambling shrub to 30 m long; stem 18 cm Ø; branches 5-7 mm Ø, glabrous; panicle terminal, to 70 cm long, 40 cm broad.
Ecology : Plateau rain-forest; flooded rain-forest; river sides; fallow land; forest gallery; ± 720-1100 m alt. (Angola).
