Biology : Erect subshrub 1-1,5 m tall; stems and branches striate, densely golden-hairy; leaflets velvetty, large (9-13x7-11 cm); flowers purplish blue in very dense velvety hirsute inflorescences; fruit unknown.
Ecology : Ecology unknown.
  Resembling to P. muxiriae but stems more densely hairy and leaflets larger. Known only from the type collected in 1937 (Exell & Mendonça 3067).
