Biology : Trailing woody herb ± 1 m long arising from a woody rootstock; stems somewhat angular.
Ecology : Rocks at head of waterfall; top of gorge, among rocks in loam soil; very stony ground in woodland; clayey or sandy roadside; Brachystegia woodland on brown soil and in open spaces; 900-1650 m alt.
  Leaves folding and drooping as in Oxalis at night.
