Ecology : Wet grassland on clay; Acacia drepanolobium bushland; around pools; roadsides; rocky ground; weed of cultivated land and waste places; ruderal; flooded sandy or clayey soils; to 2600(-2800) m alt. Warmer regions of the Old World.
