Ecology and distribution
Trop. Afr.
Biology : Tree to 10-13 m, with trunk 40 cm , or (rarely) shrub 3-4 m tall.
Ecology : Many kinds of woodland; very often on termite-mounds; apparently never dominant but scattered among other species; on a wide range of soils; 1-±2000 m alt. Caprivi Strip, Botswana. – Possibly introduced in Nigeria.
