Ecology : Wide variety of situations:probably commonest in wooded grassland,forest margins and secondary bushland;growing over bushes;in sclerophyllous forests,wooded savannas;secondary formations,scrub,forest clearings,abandoned cultivations,forest gallery,fallows
  100-2600 m alt.
