Ecology : In pastures among low bushes, Euphorbiaceae (cf. Clutia benguelensis), Gnidia, Ascolepis.
  Closely allied to T. myriocladum. Known only from the type gatherings (December 1859, January 1860).
  Reported from Botswana by Burgoyne in Germishuizen & Meyer, Pl. South. Africa: annot. checklist, Stelitzia 14: 857, 2003, but not cited by Hilliard in Fl. Zambes. 9/3. This record is perhaps T. myriocladum.
