Trop. Afr.
Biology : Shrub; branches brown, glabrous; leaves 3-foliolate, petiole 4-5 cm long; terminal leaflet ± oblong, 7-9x3,5-4 cm, the laterals slightly smaller, all glabrous except for the midrib, dull on both surfaces; inflorescences simple, 13-18 cm long.
Ecology : Forest, in understorey; c. 1900 m alt.
  Seems close to A. ferrugineus.
  Known only from the type collected in 1907.
