Biology : Unbranched shrub or tree 2-8 m tall; branchlets, leaf-rhachis, lower surface of leaflets and inflorescence densely orange-brown long-hairy; trunk 2-8 cm Ø; leaves 0,5-1 m long, with 3-7(-11) pairs of leaflets.

Ecology : Evergreen forest in understorey; in small stands in primary rain-forest; 500-586 m alt. (Gabon).
