Biology : Shrub, erect, 2-3 m tall, or scandent 5-6 m, or tree 6-7 m, all parts densely clothed with brown hairs 1-2 mm long; monoecious; leaf petiole 6-15 cm long; leaflets in 3-5 pairs, oblong, acuminate, dentate in upper half, 7-22(-30)x4-10 cm.
Ecology : Rain-forest, forest with Lophira alata, Saccoglottis gabonensis, gallery forest, forest gaps; 1-800 m alt.
