Biologie : Much-branched shrub 1-3 m tall, with stiffly erect branches arising from near ground-level; bark peeling, brown, papery, green beneath; twigs purplish brown to almost black; short shoots densely fulvous tomentose.
Ecologie : Lava rocks; locally subdominant in open Acacia, Commiphora bushland on red sandy soil; 50-900 m alt.
