Terrestrial slender herb 10-30 cm tall; stem with hyaline basal sheaths, and 6-15 leaves the lower 3-6 of which clustered near base, ± erect, oblanceolate-elliptic, 5-10x1-2 cm, ± folded, the remaining leaves scattered on stem, smaller, grading into floral bracts; inflorescence dense, cylindrical, to 7x1 cm, c. 40-flowered; flowers bright yellow or white (variable, in the same population), 2-3 mm Ø; bracts ovate, c. 3 mm long; pedicel and ovary c. 3 mm long; sepals subequal, c. 2-3x2 mm; petals rhomboid, 1-3 mm long, curved over the anther; lip c. 3x1,5 mm, 3-lobed; spur cylindrical, straight, < 0,5 mm long. |
