Biologie : Epiphytic herb, glabrous; pseudobulbs clustered, 1-leafed, ovoid-orbicular, c. 0,3x c. 0,3 cm (?), 4-angled; leaf elliptic-ovate, 0,7-1,5x0,5-0,7 cm; inflorescence 2-3 cm long, 2-flowered; peduncle 2-3 cm long; rachis c. 1 mm long; bracts ovate, 3,5x1 mm; flowers open at same time, colour unknown; sepals triangular, 6,7x1,4 mm, recurved in basal part; petals triangular, 2,2x0,4 mm; lip ovate, 2,4x1,1 mm, not recurved, with ridge at base; fruit unknown.
Ecologie : Cocoa plantations; dense forest; 460-655 m alt.
  Resembling a small B. intertextum but flowers larger. Also near B. coriscense but inflorescence only 2-flowered and lip different.
  Not in Fl. Cameroun 35, 2001. Known from 2 collections: the type (Stévart & al. 1094, Gabon) and Stévart & Pial 302 (S Cameroon) collected in 2001. In a message to us (18.II.2014) Stévart confirms this plant as a new species but he is hoping to get further material before describing it validly.
