Biologie : Epiphytic herb to 8 cm tall, with a thin creeping rhizome; pseudobulbs c. 2 cm apart, 2-leaved, ellipsoid, c. 1x0,4-0,7 cm; leaves (elliptic-)oblong, 1-2,3x0,6 cm; inflorescence from base of pseudobulb, c. 8 cm long, c. 5-flowered; peduncle very slender, 7 cm long; rachis 1 cm long; bracts ovate, acute, c. 3 mm long, much longer than ovary; flowers sessile, patent, open, yellowish white; sepals ± spreading, ovate, acute, 4,2-5,7x2,6-4 mm, 3-nerved; petals minute, triangular-deltoid, c. 0,3 mm long; lip slightly recurved, elliptic, 4,5 mm long, apex 3-lobed, apex of mid-lobe incurved, “the end of the recurved middle lobe…being free for some distance from the lower surface…” (Summerhayes, o.c.: 124).
Ecologie : Hill summit “on moss-covered scrubby Erythroxylon”; 900 m alt.
  Very characteristic species: “more open flowers, which are also larger than in G. [Genyorchis] pumila… though not so large as in G. macrantha…” (Summerhayes, l.c.). Known only from the type collected in 1949.
