Biologie : Epiphytic herb; pseudobulbs 1-leafed, conical-ovoid, 2-2,5x0,8 cm, triangular to 5-ridged; leaf oblong-elliptical, 11-12,5x2-3 cm, planar in cross-section; inflorescence to 40,5 cm long, c. 25 flowered, rachis curved, with > 5 flowers open at one time; flowers glabrous, dull pale yellow green; bracts ovate-lanceolate, c. 6 mm long; pedicel and ovary slender, ± as long as bracts; sepals ± lanceolate, c. 8x2,5 mm, margins pubescent (hairs very short); petals linear, c. 8 mm long, glabrous; lip lanceolate, c. 6x1 mm, entirely flattened, margins with very fine velvety or woolly hairs forming a rim to c. 4/5 of length of lip, longest hairs of lip c. 10 mm long at apex.
Ecologie : High forest, on large tree branch.
  Related to B. saltatorium, and often considered as a synonym of its var. saltatorium.
