Description :	"Herb. Roots creamy coloured. Leaves greenish-creamy coloured with purple on veins on subterranean sheaths parts, leafsheaths above soil bluish-green with very little purple on the rim and midrib. Leafjoint very pale green. Leafblade bluihs-green. Stalk purplish-green, especially purple at the nodes. Inflorescence pale green, tops of glumae yellow. Anthers pale pinkish-purple. Beard brown."
