Agenda 21

Agenda 21/Cooperation

Responsible: Dr Pierre-André LOIZEAU
with, for the region: Dr N. WYLER
for the programme "cadre au Sud": D. ROGUET

A large part of the activities of the CJB respond, both naturally and concretely, to the preoccupations of Agenda 21: waste management, generalized recycling, environmental education, energy management, informed action against habitat destruction, socio-professional integration, etc...

Certain activities benefit from supplementary means, such as those coming from the Conseil administratif (Fonds de cooperation de la Ville de Genève), and from the Canton of Geneva and private foundations.

We have published two articles in the "Série éducative Sud-Nord", on environmental education (EE) in the Ivory Coast and Senegal.
