Biology : Subligneous climber, to 20 m; stem to 7 cm ?at base; sterile tendrils simple or 3-fid, 7-15 cm long, sometimes ending in small adhesive discs.
Ecology : Primary and secondary forest, temporarily inundated and gallery forest; 100-800 m alt.
