Ecology and distribution

Biology : Perennial shrublet to 20 cm tall, eventually broader than high; brown bark, nodes ± swollen; ripe fruit and seed unknown.
Ecology : Acacia-Commiphora bushland, open woodland on or near granite inselberg; rock crevices and rocky slopes; along sandy riverbeds; 300-1500 m alt. Attractively coloured flowers: orange, reddish-orange, coral red, reddish peach, orange-pink, pink, deep pink.
