Biology : Terrestrial slender herb; tuber 1, ovoid, 1,7-2,5x0,7-1,5 cm; sterile stem short with 3-4-lanceolate acute leaves near apex 10-15x0,5-1 cm; flowering stem 15-35-50 cm tall, leafy; leaves reduced, 3-4, lanceolate, acute, 6,5x1 cm; inflorescence 4-20 cm long, c. 2 cm Ø, laxly 15-25-flowered; flowers small, purple, resupinate; bracts lanceolate, 6-12 mm long, acute-acuminate; pedicel and ovary erect, c. 10 mm long; dorsal sepal ovate-lanceolate, 5-7x3 mm, with erect conical spur 5-7 mm long; lateral sepals oblong-ovate, 5,6-6x1,5-2,5 mm; petals obliquely lanceolate, 3-4,3x1-2,1 mm; lip oblong-ovate, 4-5 mm long.
Ecology : Grassland; 1300-2000 m alt.
