Biology : Tree 20-30 m; bole straight, 80-100 cm Ø, buttressed at the base; sometimes with one or a few stilt-roots; root flanges well developed at the base of the bole; crown spreading.
Ecology : Evergreen forest; sandy grounds; granite; ferrugineous soils; 200-1350 m alt.
