Biology : Shrub or tree 7-13(-25) m high, deciduous, often branching near base (pagoda-like).
Ecology : Deciduous woodland, bushland and wooded grassland, riverine forest; on a wide variety of soils but usually in rocky places; relict tree in cultivated areas, river banks, dry riverine forest; often a dominant element; 250-2000 m alt. Tropical Arabia.
